Description
This easy low FODMAP eggnog French toast will be a holiday tradition in no time!
Instructions
- Dip each piece of bread in the eggnog until it is thoroughly coated. Let any excess eggnog drip back into the bowl and lay the bread down in two layers in a small baking dish. Cover the soaked bread with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (up to overnight).
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and lightly grease a baking sheet with butter. Make a single layer of bread slices on the baking sheet and bake for 6 minutes. Then turn each slice over and bake for another 6-8 minutes (or until the bread is puffy and golden brown). Serve warm with maple syrup, low FODMAP fruits, or a low FODMAP serving of cottage cheese.
